Fever Chase

Made in Ableton Live for OST Composing Jam [Sandbox].

Theme was "palindrome", so I made a song that has exact same MIDI forwards and backwards.

I started with the beat, and when figuring out bass line, I imagined a whacky character, who got extremely powerful, drunk with power and now player is trapped in their fever dream-like world.

This track is a chase sequence, where player's only option is to run away. I tried to build upon the "whacky, but stressful" and "I feel relieved when track ends" to add to the intensity and weirdness of a chase scene. I imagine geometry behaving weirdly, some visual distortions while running away, to add to the difficulty.
